I led an impoverished youth

We didn't even have PMS in my day. It had not been invented, so no-one had it. We had cramps, but took aspirin and carried on.

Midlife crises had not been discovered either, so if some middle aged fool bought himself a sports car, combed his hair over his bald spot, and started dating chicks half his age, we called him a jerk and had no sympathy or understanding for him.

Those were the dark ages.

First off I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question in which
I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out
how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing.
I've had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my
ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes
are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?
Thank you!
