Apology
I've been reviewing some of my older posts, and I must admit I was a better writer then. It gets harder and harder. When I was young the words just flowed, but as I got older, I appear to have dropped a few IQ points here and there. I used to search for the mot juste, and frequently got it right. But now, instead of the mot juste, I sometimes settle for the mot second best or, worse yet, the mot good enough for government work.

No complaints from here, since I often struggle just to be coherent. Well, maybe a little one in that I'd like to hear from you more. I do realize though that sometimes life makes it pretty much impossible.
You seem to do pretty well. I've always wondered why apologize for "not blogging more?" Is it kind of like, "Sorry I haven't written" when you try and reconnect with an old friend?
I guess I see blogging as something I do for me. Not really an obligation to my readers. Of course, I can be a bit anti-social, as what few friends I have can attest, so maybe my view is a little skewed in that respect.
