How do we know Osama is really dead?

Do we need pictures of his dead body?

How do we know Hitler is really dead?

I agree with you on OBL, though we seem to be in a despised minority. We don't know he's dead and we likely never will. You accept what you're told or you don't.

If Obama was half smart (seems not to be the case) he would have instructed the military not to damage OBL's face and to photograph it for just this eventuality. Instead...; 10:43 PM

It's been the standard human practice for almost all of human history - they used to put the bodies on ice and display them.

Is it gruesome? Yes. But so is so much of human existence.

I put the argument that it will cause even more reprisals on par with the notion that fighting back causes more terrorists. "They" already hate us. He's already dead. And only a certain type of person will actively seek out the picture, anyway.; 10:10 AM
