Never mind the old building, there is something about a black & white photo that is timeless.

I think in the Uk these are called court shoes, but in the USA they are called pumps.
Every woman had a pair, usually in black.

You look lovely - and the building, probably, didn't have as much TLC as you have. May it continue as is.
That was a long time ago! I've taken on a lot of freight since those days--and even then I was the fat one in the family.
I loved that dress though. I kept it for years, until it disappeared in the mists of time.
