Depression
When I am worried about something I lose my appetite and therefore lose weight. It's easy. I just don't feel like eating. When I feel better, though, I gain it all back. Now that's depressing!

You're lucky. When I'm worried, I develop attachment to my refrigerator, as well as fondness for carbs. And when you consider the median [2-gitit, minimum] ratio of depressive:joyful, you'll see how difficult it is to stay relatively fit.
Oh well. Ce la vie.
