Is it okay to steal soap from hotel rooms?

Apparently, it is if you're British.

One of my relatives who travels extensively  has not bought soap in 20 years.  Apparently the complimentary soaps he takes from  hotel rooms fulfill the sanitary needs of his entire family.

    Cost of soap in hotel room is included into the price per night that guests pay. Same with little travel-size shampoo and lotion.

    So no, taking it is not stealing.

    I always did when I traveled. But I'd rather buy it than travel.
