I never understood why anyone would want to live in Detroit. But, then, I generally have tried to steer clear of Yankeeland.
It used to be a prosperous city. However, like all the cities on the Great Lakes, the climate is awful.
Latest I hear is that the UN is going to get involved. As if the local bureaucracy wasn't screwed up enough.
