10, 8, 7, 6, & 4 I have actually read. The others I don't recall ever saying I did. Don't see the Hawking book on the list. At one time it was supposed to be the most popular, most bought, most unread book out there.
I'm not against long books. I have read War and Peace, Anna Karenina, and Middlemarch. Also read and enjoyed a doorstop called A Suitable Boy, by Vikram Seth. If you can lift it, read it by all means.

ReplyDeleteI read Les Miserables and Moby Dick, and am struggling through deTocqueville. It's heavy lifting.
ReplyDeleteMr Charm not only read Macchiavelli, he wrote a paper on it, and I typed it. So I consider that I read it by proxy.
